Career in Real Estate
Deciding to get into the selling of real estate will greatly depend on a number of factors. Self-motivation, discipline, self-study, and contious training are the cornerstone to success in the real estatte industry.
In my opinion, the single most significant factor is the passion to succeed. Without the desire and passion any career in real estate will be short lived.
Like any successful business, you need to set goals, and budgets. Each one has to be revisited monthly, quaterly, and annually.
You need to know not only commission percentages but also commission splits between comapnies and their agents. Knowing the market values and also average sales prices will pre-determine units required to meet your goals and budgets.
Marketing will be directly proportional to budgeting and goals set by the real estate agent.
